Varsity Cross Country HEAD COACH JESSE WHITE
Coach White received a Bachelor of Science in Sociology at Brigham Young University. He had previously acquired his Associate of Science in Behavioral Social Sciences at Sacramento City College, Sacramento, CA. Jesse was part of the school record holding 4×400 relay team. He was 3 Time NCAA Division 1 All-American in the 400m and 4×400 relay. Coach White built leadership skills on the field by coaching fellow teammates through drills and motivating them to perform at their highest level. Jesse has also been a Volunteer for various youth camps and charity events. Coach White worked as a BYU Athletic Compliance Intern by following up with athletes and coaches making sure all NCAA rules and regulations were being followed. He worked on making sure Student Athlete recruits were cleared and prepared to enter into University. As a Coach at Sacramento City College, he mentored potential scholar athletes on the importance of how to balance their lives with the rigors of school, sports, and their social lives. Coach White also assisted the head coach with coaching sprinters and hurdlers. He demonstrated proper running techniques and passing on valuable skills obtained over the 8 years of his track career. In 2008, Jesse, , was the Treasure of the whole youth NAACP East County Branch in Antioch, CA. He managed funding for the branch to make sure they had enough funds for activities and travels.
