Compelled by his personal life experiences, Robert believes that education is a human right and that all students deserve the right to an excellent and equitable education. Robert has been an educator since 1997. He holds a M.A. in Urban Education from Grand Canyon University, M.A. in Special Education from Claremont Graduate University, and Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Cal Poly Pomona. Some of his honors include: Teacher of the Year Award, NAACP, County of Los Angeles; Teachers’ Making a Difference Award, Cherry Blossom Festival, Southern California, and Golden Key International Honor Society Award. Most recently, Robert served as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction and Principal at Soledad Enrichment Action Charter School. Finally, Robert currently resides in Los Angeles County, California with his wife and family where he was born, raised and taught.
